  This program is created using modular
approach and PPP (Pre-Post-Processor)
philosophy.

FinitE-Plast consists of three
interdependent blocks:
Preprocessor
, Processor and
Postprocessor
.
   

Preprocessor

Preprocessor allows:
  • to enter and to edit
    geometries of billets
    and processing instruments;
  • to enter and to edit input
    data necessary
    for calculations (mechanical
    and thermal
    properties of materials,
    parameters
    of calculation etc.).
 
Processor Processor conducts:
  • creation of initial grid of
    finite elements;
  • solution of the equations of
    plastic flow and
    calculation of the process
    differential characteristics;
  • automatic generation of the
    grid and recalculation
    of the process differential
    characteristics at each step
    of the instrument movements;
  • calculation of vectors
    components of the material
    points movement velocities,
    components of stress tensor,
    bending moment diagram
    of pressures, field of
    temperatures etc.
 
Postprocessor Postprocessor visualizes results
in the form of:
  • Field of vectors;
  • Isocurves;
  • Distorted grid;
  • Graphs and bending moment diagrams.
